Tiny Towns – from designer Peter McPherson – has been named Best Board Game of the Year at Origins Awards 2020.
The Origins Awards were presented for the first time at the very first Origins Game Fair in Baltimore in 1975.
The purpose of the awards is to recognize excellence in game design, and increase awareness and sales for the nominees, winners, the Origins convention, and hobby games in general.
This year’s Awards also saw Point Salad – from designers Molly Johnson, Robert Melvin and Shawn Stankelwich – win Best Card Game of the Year, while Best Family Game of the Year went to The Quacks of Quedlinburg from designer Wolfgang Warsch.
