Carterbench’s Suzanne Robinson was awarded the prestigious I.D.I.O.T. Award at this year’s UK Toy Inventors’ Dinner, hosted at The Queen’s Club in London.
I.D.I.O.T. stands for International Designer and Inventor of Toys and the award – initiated in 1988 – is given as a tribute to those who have made outstanding contributions to the toy industry.
Previous winners of the award in recent years includes Hasbro’s Tanya Thompson, NPD’s Max Ford, People of Play’s Mary Couzin and Goliath’s Adi Golad.
“I’m speechless!” said Suzanne, adding: “I’ve been fortunate to work with so many amazing people in the industry over the years – and feel very lucky that I can call so many of them friends.”
