The ‘Tabletop 2.0’ session will see panellists discuss how they envision board game design finally crossing the physical-digital divide to create enhanced gameplay and new experiences.

The session will welcome Master Toy Advisors’ Leila Nosrati, Jazwares’ Jeremy Padawer, The Toy Coach’s Azhelle Wade and The Fantastic Factory’s David Snow.

The session will delve into the design process behind Golden Bear’s new Trapped series of innovative games that turn any room into an Escape Room.

The session will see Ravensburger’s Shane Hartley and Jake Breish discuss the art direction behind the firm’s smash-hit game series.

“Innovation is the lifeblood of our industry and its great to see so many wonderful new games and to honour the brains behind them,” said Cartamundi UK’s Daniel King

The session will be chaired by artist David Foldvari.

Graduates of the firm’s Shenkar Toy Invention Program will also be on the panel to discuss how the course paved the way for them to establish careers as toy inventors.

Winners will be revealed on Friday, September 11th in a special Mojo Nation newsletter.

The session, chaired by TinkerTini’s Trina McFarland, will delve into the good, the bad and the ugly of life as solo invention studios.

“The September Mojo event has become a highlight in our calendar and we are really looking forward to returning to the pitch sessions for a third year,” said Moose Toys UK’s James Austin-Smith.
