Exploding Kittens brings collectibles and card games together in Catchables

Exploding Kittens is launching a new collectibles/card game mash-up called Catchables.

The game sees players toss their Catchable in the air while completing a stunt described on an action card. When a player successfully completes a stunt – while their Catchable is in mid-air – they place two additional Action cards in front of other players, or themselves. These introduce additional challenges to make a player’s next turn trickier.

If a player fails to complete the challenges before their Catchable lands, they must discard one or more of their face-up Action cards. The first player to complete a catch of five or more Action cards wins.

The game includes fan-favourite characters from the Exploding Kittens catalogue, including Rainbow-Ralphing Cat, Lumber Cat, and Cat holding a Cat.

Catchables will be available in 2-packs and 4-packs, with 12 characters to collect. It launches exclusively at Walmart in the US on July 27th, before landing in the UK on August 2nd.
