Funko’s Ben Butcher to discuss why curiosity is key to fuelling creativity at Play Creators Conference

Ben Butcher, SVP of Creative at Funko, will be sharing his thoughts on creativity, working with brands and what steers the firm’s approach to design at a special session at this year’s Play Creators Conference.

The one-on-one interview, hosted by Mojo Nation’s Billy Langsworthy, will delve into how Ben and his team tackle toy design, covering the blend of passion, research and creativity that drives the company’s approach to product development.

Ben Butcher joined Funko back in 2013, but prior to that he spent the previous 11 years wrangling monsters, fish, superheroes and cars as Creative Director of Consumer Products at Pixar Animation Studios.

The session will go out in a special daily Mojo Nation newsletter during the first week of September (Tuesday September 1st – Friday September 4th) as part of Mojo Nation’s Virtual Play Creators Conference, with all content released during the week totally free to watch.
