Last week saw London’s Stamford Bridge Stadium host the 2023 Play Creators Conference.
A day spanning insightful talks and engaging panel sessions, speakers included Hasbro’s Angus Walker, toy collector Tim Rowett, sustainability expert Sharon Keilthy and design_lead_play_’s Darren Lee Phillipson.

Gabi’s session will look at how values-based storytelling builds brands that connect, move and extend their reach.
“Hasbro is excited to join the Mojo Pitch again this year, to connect with the brilliant minds shaping the future of play,” said Naomi Brugnatelli, Senior Manager of Inventor Relations at Hasbro.
Adam’s session – titled ‘Chasing Play and Designing Without Permission’ – will explore how Fat Brain looks to make toys by breaking the mold.
“For us as a UK based creative team, the Mojo Pitch is such a great event to have on our doorstep,” said Jon Elliott, Head of R&D at Character Options.
“Innovation and inspiration are what keeps our industry alive and we are hoping to find plenty of both over the course of the event,” said University Games’ Richard Wells.
