Last week saw London’s Stamford Bridge Stadium host the 2023 Play Creators Conference.
A day spanning insightful talks and engaging panel sessions, speakers included Hasbro’s Angus Walker, toy collector Tim Rowett, sustainability expert Sharon Keilthy and design_lead_play_’s Darren Lee Phillipson.

Oli’s session – titled ‘TikTok Made Me Play It: How TikTok Is Shaping the Future of Games & Creativity’ – will explore areas including how TikTok works, why certain toys and games are thriving there – and how to generate impact on the platform.
This year’s Play Creators Awards will take place on Tuesday, June 24th at Under the Bridge in London.
“Mojo Pitch creates an environment where connections turn into collaborations, and great concepts evolve into even greater products,” said Adam Carson, Director of Product Innovation at Fat Brain Toys.
“In 2025, we’re excited about opening up our usually tight brief to attract new ideas and concepts in a slightly different space… As well as the next best party game of course,” said Lewis Allen, Product Development Director at Ginger Fox.
