Spielwarenmesse kicked off earlier this week with the presentation of the ToyAwards, celebrating ‘outstanding, innovative products’ across four age-specific categories and a new Startup group.
The Baby & Infant category saw the award go to the Magic Touch Piano Musical Toy from Hape International and Kids II, while BRUDER Spielwaren clinched first place in the Pre-School category with its bworld theme sets.
In the SchoolKids category, the Magical Mermaid World from PLAYMOBIL emerged as the winner, while the quiz game kNOW! from Ravensburger won the accolade in the Teenager & Adults segment.
Finally, in the Startup category, Shenzhen Bell Creative Science and Education came out on top with Mabot.
