This opening at Bubblegum Stuff is an opportunity to manage the end-to-end supply chain functions of a small business and see tangible results from your work. Bubblegum Stuff designs, manufactures and distributes its own range of novelty products and card games. Reporting to the Director you will get exposure to the business as a whole and how your work directly impacts its overall success. A varied, hands-on role to make a real difference in a company that’s well established in the UK and currently in an exciting growth stage as it continues to expand into the US market.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• End-to-end supply chain, from raising POs to factories to ensuring goods are correctly delivered to B2B customers
• Ensure production deadlines are met to meet launch dates
• Work closely with the sales team to plan productions and shipping
• Arrange and manage sea/air shipments, working closely with freight forwarders
• Analyse stock data and forecasting
• Cost Management, monitor product margin and shipping costs
• Ensuring products meet compliance standards across the regions: organising testing and filing all certificates correctly
• Proactively make improvements to reduce inefficiencies in current SOPs
• Ensuring the intellectual property of products is sufficiently protected (Trademarks, Design Rights, Copyright, US Patents) and enforced, including removing counterfeit items from online marketplaces

You will need to be:
• Highly proficient in Excel / Google Sheets with knowledge of macros as well as functions such as VLOOKUP, PIVOT TABLE, and IF
• Excellent at data analysis and problem-solving
• Able to work autonomously and drive the business forward
• Have the confidence to make informed decisions in a fast-paced work environment
• Organised and have attention to detail
• The ability to communicate clearly across multiple functions such as design, supply chain, sales, finance and marketing.

The Bubblegum Stuff office is based at Trinity Buoy Wharf on the River Thames in East London so this position would be best suited to someone living in London or the Home Counties.
