Kids Industries’ Gary Pope to talk ‘Families, experiences and the importance of toys’ at BLE 2021

Brand Licensing Europe has detailed its slate of retailer content for this year’s event, including a toy-focused session by Kids Industries CEO Gary Pope.

The talk – ‘Families, experiences and the importance of toys’ – will see Gary share original and never seen before data to explore how families like to shop now and how these behaviours have amplified following the pandemic.

“The importance of a great retail experience has always been significant, but now it is vital,” said Gary.

“And there are few categories where a great experience will more deeply engage families than around toys, games and all those other marvellous things that children want to play with.”

Elsewhere, The Insights Family’s Nick Richardson will present ‘A Future Forecast 2022’, while Hasbro’s Catrina O’Brien and Asda’s Jade Snart will helm a session diving into the ‘Plant with Peppa’ programme that’s teaching children about the importance of trees in the world.

“BLE is hosting brilliant content for retailers both in person and online,” said Anna Knight, VP of Licensing, Informa Markets.

“For those attending in-person, we invite them to discover What’s Next in retail by joining the trend sessions, visiting the Sustainability Activation and also walking the show floor to gain inspiration from the thousands of products on display and see how brands could fit into their future product ranges.”

Brand Licensing Europe takes place in person from November 17th to 19th at ExCeL London and visitors can register for free at www.brandlicensing.eu.
