Kosmos’ Drop It shines as Board Game Club hits Soho’s Century Club
Thames & Kosmos’ Drop It, a game in which players drop geometric shapes in a frame, became a runaway hit at the latest Board Game Club.
In the first Board Game Club to be hosted at its new home at Soho’s Century Club, Drop It proved to be “in demand all evening”.
“Watching the chaos when you drop your pieces in the frame is addictive,” said Board Game Club co-founder Lesley Singleton.
Other games on the Board Game Club menu included the evergreen Rummikub, while Telestrations and Dobble proved popular with visitors. New games to grace the evening included That’s a Question, The Mind, Decrypto and Azul.
Board Game Club co-founder Peter Jenkinson added: “We made some great friends on our first night at the venue. A number of Century Club members popped their heads round the door just to see what the fuss was about, then stayed for hours!”
The next Board Game Club takes place on Wednesday June 20th at Century Club, where the grown up games night will be shining a spotlight on FReNeTiC, the new game from the creators of Accentuate, and hosting some top finds from next week’s UK Games Expo.
