Made Thought debuts PlasticFree, a sustainable materials platform for designers

Design agency Made Thought has launched PlasticFree, a sustainable materials platform aimed at helping designers ‘use their visionary disruptive skills to design plastic out at source.’

Created in partnership with A Plastic Planet, PlasticFree houses case studies and editorial from leaders in the worlds of design and science, as well as a guide of trending sustainable materials.

“All designers are like magpies – always looking for something new, different or exciting,” said Made Thought’s founding partner Ben Parker.

“With so much innovation currently being driven by sustainability, PlasticFree is a unique inspiration platform for the creative industry. It helps translate topics that can often be lofty or very dry, making them both digestible and desirable. And, critically, it feels optimistic, a place full of potential and possibility of making a plastic free world.”

PlasticFree is being launched as a membership service. An individual annual membership costs £250, a team annual membership costs £1,250 while an agency annual memberships costs £5,000.
