Mojo Nation’s Play Creators Festival 2022 to span both in-person and digital events

Mojo Nation has dated this year’s Play Creators Festival, a three-day event spanning conferences, pitching sessions and awards.

This year’s Play Creators Festival will be a hybrid of in-person and digital events. The live Festival will take place at London’s Twickenham Stadium from September 5th – 7th, with in-person events including the Play Creators Conference, the Play Creators Awards and the Mojo Pitch.

Monday, September 5th: Play Creators Festival Opening Night Party
Tuesday, September 6th: Play Creators Conference
Tuesday, September 6th (evening): Play Creators Awards
Wednesday, September 7th: Mojo Pitch

As well as the live events, this year will also welcome the return of the Virtual Mojo Pitch, with the digital event taking place the following month across October 12th and 13th.

“We’re really excited to get back to live events, and are over the moon to be bringing our line-up of conferences, awards nights and pitching sessions to our new home at Twickenham,” said Mojo Nation co-founder, Billy Langsworthy.

“While the live event will be the heart of the Play Creators Festival, this hybrid model – with virtual pitching opportunities – is a vital for us as we look to build on the success of our Virtual Mojo Pitch. It aligns with our aim to provide important opportunities for inventors and designers, wherever they may be based in the world.”

WHAT’S ON…

Play Creators Conference: This year’s conference will unite the industry’s design and inventor community for an inspirational day of talks, panels and networking opportunities.

Play Creators Awards: This relaxed, fun evening will celebrate the recent stellar achievements of both inventors and in-house R&D teams across a raft of categories.

Mojo Pitch: Returning for its first in-person event for two years, the Mojo Pitch will give inventors and design studios the opportunity to pitch concepts to over 30 toy and game firms, each housed within their own private box at London’s Twickenham Stadium.

Virtual Mojo Pitch: Taking place a month after the live Play Creators Festival – across October 12th and 13th, the Virtual Mojo Pitch will provide more pitching opportunities on our dedicated digital platform.

More information on conference speakers, award nominations and companies participating in the Mojo Pitch will be announced over the next few weeks and months.
