Moose Toys UK, So Sound, Open 2 Design and Making Things to share tips on how graduates can succeed in the toy space at New Designers 2020
A panel of industry experts will be sharing thoughts on how design graduates can carve out careers in the toy and game space as part of New Designers’ virtual ND Educates programme.
ND EDUCATES is a series of free workshops and talks from designers across multiple industries. The extensive programme features top-tips, how to guides and feedback to support graduates in their next chapter as a creative professional.
The Toy Design 101 panel will be chaired by Mojo Nation’s own Billy Langsworthy, and panellists include:
– James Austin-Smith, Head of R&D and Product Development, Moose Toys UK
– Fi Murray, Founder, Making Things Studio
– Matt Burtonwood, Founder, Open 2 Design
– Sam Roberts, Inventor, So Sound
The session will give an in-depth guide as to what life as a toy designer and freelance inventor looks like, delving into the various routes recent graduate can take to give themselves the best chance of working in the toy space.
