Hydro Pods is the result of a collaboration between London-based invention studio Seven Towns and the Hasbro design team.

The 950-piece model can transition between bot mode and vehicle mode, without the need for disassembly.

New copies of the game will come with a Disney Lorcana Shimmering Skies card featuring Prince John, illustrated in the Disney Villainous art style.

Shimmering Skies will be released at game stores, Disney Stores and Disney Parks on August 9th, followed by mass market retailers and DisneyStore online on August 23rd.

“We are overwhelmed by the rush to our show,” said Carol Rapp, Managing Director of Spiel owner Merz Verlag.

“This new version is sure to amp up the hilarity of game nights – whether it’s college gatherings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, or nights in with friends,” said Dane Chapin, CEO of The Op Games.

Elsewhere, Taco Kitten Pizza, Magic Keys and Große kleine Edelsteine are up for Kinderspiel des Jahres.

The project will run on Hasbro Pulse until July 8th and needs 8,000 backers to fund the base offering.
