Next Board Game Club event to celebrate launch of Mojo Nation

Board Game Club, London’s grown-up games night, returns this month with a playtesting special to mark the launch of Mojo Nation, the new body dedicated to celebrating the toy and game designer community.

The event, taking place on Thursday, April 20th at every Hotel Piccadilly, London, will provide both budding inventors and established games designers with the perfect opportunity to try out their prototypes and games ideas in a friendly and sociable environment.

“This is the first playtesting special that we’ve held,” said Board Game Club’s co-founder, Lesley Singleton.

“WE’VE ALWAYS WELCOMES INVENTORS AND DESIGNERS OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS, BUT WITH THE LAUNCH OF MOJO NATION, WE FELT IT WAS A PERFECT TIME TO HOLD A ‘PROPER’ NIGHT DEDICATED TO PROTOTYPES AND NEW IDEAS.”
LESLEY SINGLETON, BOARD GAME CLUB

“We’ve always welcomes inventors and designers over the past few years, but with the launch of Mojo Nation, we felt it was a perfect time to hold a ‘proper’ night dedicated to prototypes and new ideas. That said, we’ll still have an eclectic collection of established titles on offer for everyone to play too. We’re looking forward to seeing what our guests bring along and excited that maybe – just maybe – the ‘next big thing’ might be played for the first time at our Board Game Club.”

Board Game Club events regularly attract an eclectic mix of 60 to 80 games brand execs, buyers, inventors, influencers and general public. The nights are open to anyone over the age of 18 and free to attend.
