Paw Patrol creator Keith Chapman to shed light on his creative process at Toy and Game Design Conference
Keith Chapman, the award-winning kids’ entertainment creator behind Bob the Builder and Paw Patrol, is set to talk through his creative process at this year’s Toy and Game Design Conference.
Kicking off Mojo Nation’s inaugural Play Creators Festival, the Toy and Game Design Conference, sponsored by Hasbro, Alpha Group and Wynne-Jones IP, is a day set to inspire, enlighten and wow the industry’s creative backbone.
With a line-up of exciting speakers from across toys, games, tech, film, TV and the wider worlds of playful design, the conference will unite designers, inventors and those interested in the creative industries.
Chapman is known for creating a raft of smash hit kids’ TV shows that have proved to be just as successful on toy shelves as they are on the small screen, including Paw Patrol, Bob the Builder and Fifi & the Flowertots. Earlier in his career, Chapman worked on The Muppets, Muppet Babies and Fraggle Rock for The Jim Henson Company.
“I’m very excited to be part of the Toy and Game Design Conference this year,” said Chapman.
“I’ll be sharing my experiences, covering the creative process and the commercial viability of a TV show, and Paw Patrol in particular. I’ll be touching on the ingredients I believe are needed to help make a show a global success.”
Billy Langsworthy, co-founder of Mojo Nation, added: “Paw Patrol is one of the biggest properties to hit the toy space in recent years, so we’re over the moon to have Keith involved at the Conference to talk about the origins of the IP and his approach to creating incredible shows for kids.”
The Toy and Game Design Conference, sponsored by Hasbro, Alpha Group and Wynne-Jones IP, is taking place at London’s Emirates Stadium on Monday, September 10th.
