People of Play kicks off Young Inventor Challenge 2021

People of Play has launched its 2021 Young Inventor Challenge.

The Young Inventor Challenge is an initiative that gives young inventors the opportunity to create, present and connect with toy industry professionals to receive professional critiques and guidance.

Categories available to enter this year include Best Game, Most Fun Pet Toy and Most Sustainable.

“The goal of the Young Inventor Challenge is to inspire creativity, and provide mentorship to these awesome kids,” said Karen Luciana, Director of the Young Inventor Challenge.

“It is a competition, but our hope is for these students to gain invaluable insights during their experience. All of our mentors and judges are handpicked to bring their individual strengths together for these kids. From product development, leadership, invention, marketing – all of their wisdom is meant to teach our remarkable contestants.”

Aspiring young inventors can click here to enter. There is a $15 registration fee and the deadline for entries is October 31st.

Winners will be announced at a virtual Awards Ceremony on November 20th and each winner will receive a $250 prize package of toys and games.
