Spin Master to share how its Toy Invention Program is bringing new talent into the industry at Play Creators Conference
Spin Master’s Tal Schreiber and Paul Reynolds will be delving into the origins and success of the firm’s Toy Invention Program (T.I.P) in a special panel discussion taking place as part of this year’s Virtual Play Creators Conference.
The panel, chaired by Mojo Nation’s Billy Langsworthy, will delve into the origins and impact of the T.I.P. at Israel’s Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art, as well as looking at how you teach invention versus teaching design and the future plans for the program, following the launch of one in Canada last year.
T.I.P graduates will also be on the panel to discuss first-hand how it helped pave the way for them to establish careers as toy inventors.
Involved in the session will be:
– Tal Schrieber, Business Development & Inventor Relations, Spin Master and Head of Spin Master’s T.I.P at Shenkar
– Paul Reynolds, Design Manager, Spin Master and Instructor at Spin Master’s T.I.P at Ryerson University
– Inna Shimelmits, Freelance Toy Inventor and Graduate of Shenkar’s T.I.P
– Roy Kfir, Freelance Toy Inventor and Graduate of Shenkar’s T.I.P
The panel will be pre-recorded later this month, but we are putting your questions to the panellists, so if you have a question you’d like them to answer, please email it to [email protected].
