Fresh from debuting the first beer in the Catan series, we caught up with Champion founder Hunter Smith to find out more how he approached bringing a board game brand into beer.

Over the next 12 months, Champion will produce six different Catan beers, each reflecting a different terrain within the game.

The range, launching in 2021, will span cosy, comfortable footwear ‘inspired by Catan’s themes of trading, building and settling’.

Spiel takes place in Essen from October 24th to 27th, and the stream will run from 9am to 6pm (UK time) on Thursday through Saturday, and 9am to 5pm on Sunday.
