With Present Pets popping up on ‘Top Toys for Christmas’ lists around the world, we caught up with Alexis to learn more about the development process behind the launch.
“The intent of this museum is to take visitors back to their unique childhood experiences, and give them the opportunity to relive their youth, even if just for a few moments,” said Chuck Scothon, SVP and Global Head of Infant and Preschool, Mattel.
“We know parents and caregivers want to share what they love with their children and we will continue to help create these playful connections between kids and the grownups in their lives,” said Fisher-Price’s Chuck Scothon.
Celebrating 90 years of Fisher-Price, this panel session features Fisher-Price designers and external inventors discussing why Fisher-Price has thrived for so long, and what the key is to creating great product for the brand.
“This year’s top toys list offers a huge variety of new products, ranging from toys inspired by the biggest TV and gaming franchises to bizarre – but crucially, fun – pooping animals,” said Argos’ Juliet Ward.

Mattel launches Fisher-Price #ThankYouHeroes action figures to raise money for #FirstRespondersFirst
“#ThankYouHeroes is designed to immortalise and honour healthcare and every day heroes, and to drive additional donations to support first responders,” said Chuck Scothon, Senior Vice President of Fisher-Price and Global Head of Infant and Preschool, Mattel.
“We are also prototyping personal protective equipment such as face shields for our heroes in the healthcare profession,” said Mattel president Richard Dickson.
