LEGO CON will be hosted and livestreamed directly from LEGO House in Billund, Denmark on June 26th.

Design was submitted to LEGO Ideas by Viv Grannell and is inspired by SEGA’s Sonic Mania game.

“Knowing the impact Sesame Street has had on the world for decades, this felt like an exciting way to blend novelty with nostalgia, and pay homage to the truly iconic 123 Sesame Street through LEGO Ideas,” said LEGO’s Federico Begher.

And what inspired LEGO Art range, the firm’s new line of sets that allow fans to create LEGO pop art masterpieces? The sets were chosen on the LEGO Ideas platform, with these projects having garnered 10,000 supporters on the site.

“It really is an important step in our ambitious target of making all LEGO elements from sustainable materials,” said LEGO’s VP of environmental responsibility, Tim Brooks.

The LEGO Review Board has decided they will be the next LEGO Ideas concepts to become a reality.

‘This review round features a fascinating variety of designs, including several that are focused on aviation and nostalgic shows,’ said LEGO.

“We’re very excited about bringing this iconic Disney vehicle to life in LEGO bricks,” said Sam Thomas Johnson, Creative Lead at LEGO Ideas.

New four part mini-series features LEGO designers Mark Stafford, Sam Johnson, Mathew Boyle and Adam Corbally.
