We caught up with Jeremy to learn more about his approach to design, and why he feels the toy designer scene has had a huge influence on the mass market toy space in recent years.

New dolls are inspired by Rey, C-3PO, Chewbacca and a Stormtrooper.

“#ThankYouHeroes is designed to immortalise and honour healthcare and every day heroes, and to drive additional donations to support first responders,” said Chuck Scothon, Senior Vice President of Fisher-Price and Global Head of Infant and Preschool, Mattel.

“We are also prototyping personal protective equipment such as face shields for our heroes in the healthcare profession,” said Mattel president Richard Dickson.

The day will feature networking, an industry panel session and a creativity workshop hosted by Mojo Nation’s Billy Langsworthy and Deej Johnson.

“Creating a more sustainable world is important to our team, our company and our consumers, and our first construction line derived from bio-based plastics is an example of this,” said MEGA SVP Bisma Ansari.

In the first half of this year, the company will debut its first product aligned with this goal: the Fisher-Price Rock-a-Stack made from sugarcane-based plastics.
