Play Creators Festival

A relaxed celebratory networking evening, the Play Creators Awards takes place at London’s Under the Bridge on Monday, September 2nd and is set to shine a spotlight on some of the toy and game design community’s brightest stars.

“The Toy Association is thrilled to extend our longstanding support of the inventor and designer community through this multi-dimensional event, offering invaluable learning and networking for inventors, designers and brand owners,” said Steve Pasierb, President and CEO of The Toy Association.

Since 2000, Preloaded’s Phil Stuart has worked with game-based technologies to create playful, purposeful experiences for adults, young people and kids.

Boyle will be talking about the importance of play-based behaviours for creating a more innovative company culture.

“PlayMonster is excited to add Mojo Pitch to our annual event circuit,” said Adam Hocherman, Vice President of New Business at PlayMonster.

We caught up with Paquien to learn more about how he started out in game design, and where the idea for his Treasure Island game came from.

“Following a successful Mojo Pitch event last year, Seven Towns is looking forward to this year’s event, where we hope to connect with many new talented inventors,” said Steve Perrin, Senior VP of Design and Production at Seven Towns.

Taking place at London’s Under the Bridge on Monday, September 2nd, the Play Creators Awards celebrate the achievements of the toy and game designer community, including R&D teams, freelance inventors and design agencies.
