Categories include R&D Team of the Year, Design Agency of the Year and Toy Designer of the Year.

Whether it’s an R&D team responsible for a smash-hit line, a design agency that’s taken a brief and soared or an individual responsible for the next industry-shaping product, the Play Creators Awards are all about shining a spotlight on the industry’s top architects of play.

Last week saw the launch of Mojo Nation’s inaugural Play Creators Festival, a three-day event encompassing the Toy and Game Design Conference, the Mojo Pitch and the Student Conference.

“This is something of a match made in heaven,” says DMI’s co-founder, and board game fan, Stuart Turner.

You only have until Friday, August 31st to book tickets to next month’s Toy and Game Design Conference, sponsored by Hasbro, Alpha Group and Wynne-Jones IP.

Lesley Singleton, the co-founder of Board Game Club and MD at Playtime PR, will chair the Board Game Design Panel.

“Not only will it be a great opportunity to meet some fresh new inventors and to learn and share ideas, but it’s the perfect place for us to network with friends and colleagues from the toy and inventing community,” said Flair’s Andrew McKay.
