How has Spin Master’s Toy Invention Program at Shenkar helped to create a thriving inventor scene in Israel? What’s the difference between a design course and an toy invention course? And with Spin launching a similar program in Canada last year, what does future international expansion for the course look like?

With Spin Master’s Titanic: The Game now available, we caught up with designers Daryl Andrews and Adrian Adamescu to find out how they tackled bringing Titanic from the big screen to the tabletop.

Freelance creator Armando Roque is a creative ‘fixer’ who has worked on everything from promotional toys sold with Wendy’s meals to some of biggest licensed ranges of recent years during his time at Spin Master.

Chaired by Big Ideas’ Simon Skelton, the session will welcome Spin Master’s David Winter, PlayMonster’s Adam Hocherman and Rubik’s Brand’s Hayley Woodward.

The session will go out in a special daily Mojo Nation newsletter during the first week of September.

Graduates of the firm’s Shenkar Toy Invention Program will also be on the panel to discuss how the course paved the way for them to establish careers as toy inventors.
