“It has been a distinct honour and privilege to serve in the role of President and CEO of The Toy Association and I count myself fortunate to be among those over the past 107 years to hold this position,” said Pasierb.

There will be no show in 2024, followed by a March show in New York in 2025. Then Toy Fair will move to a new January slot in New Orleans for 2026, 2027 and 2028.

Succeeding Ellis in the position of acting chair of FIT’s Toy Design program is Susan Baumbach.

Next year’s show will take place from September 30th to October 3rd 2023 at New York’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

Hasbro’s Star Wars: The Child Animatronic Edition Toy won Toy of the Year, and also took home the award for Innovative Toy of the Year.

The study of 1000 US parents saw 83% of those surveyed say their kids receive toys from grandparents and other gift-givers which they suspect are not purchased from verified sellers.
