Brand Designs: Funko’s Lucy Salisbury on why understanding what fuels a fanbase is key to creating great licensed product
Lucy Salisbury heads up Funko’s licensing team for EMEA, managing the firm’s portfolio of more than 1000 active licences and over 10,000 characters.
“Ghostbusters is an iconic and beloved franchise and we are excited and honoured to return to the brand as the global master toy licensee and bring new product to the next generation of fans,” said Tom Warner, senior vice president, Hasbro.
“The global Hasbro team is executing very well and delivered a good start to the year,” said Brian Goldner, Hasbro’s chairman and chief executive officer.
Only two or three of these finalists will join other iconic toys in the hall and sit alongside past inductees such as Barbie, LEGO, Monopoly, Rubik’s Cube and Star Wars action figures.
