Hasbro’s Tanya Thompson scooped the Inbound Licensing award, Exploding Kittens’ Carly McGinnis was named Creative Genius while Jazwares’ Sunny Cho won the Designer/Inventor (Corporate) accolade.

“These remarkable finalists represent the pinnacle of success and exemplify the spirit of excellence that drives the WiT community and our industry forward,” said Ehi Oviasu-Kahn, Wonder Women Awards Committee Co-Chair.

In the Designer/Inventor category, nominees include Hasbro’s Mel Hershey, Mattel’s Kenna O’Brien and Jazwares’ Carolina Arce.

Launching in Spring 2021, WIT Launch Invent is an eight-week virtual course that will boast interactive sessions, recommended readings and exclusive pitching opportunities.

The session will be hosted via Zoom and take place on Friday morning between 11AM and 12PM.

Design execs from the likes of Mattel, Hasbro and Funko Games are in the running.

On July 10th at Gibsons HQ, guests can enjoy coffee and cakes while learning about the history and future plans for Gibsons.
