Toikido to bring Thinkway’s Luck toy line to the UK

Thinkway Toys has named Toikido as the exclusive UK distributor for its Luck toy line, based on the upcoming Skydance Animation movie.

The range spans plush and figurines of key characters from the movie, and products will be available for distribution in time for the film’s release in August.

“Skydance Animation and Thinkway Toys – what a combination!” said Toikido founder Darran Garnham.

“It’s a dream team of amazing content, distribution and product.”

Albert Chan, CEO of Thinkway Toys, added: “Toikido has been doing some incredible things since launching two years ago. We have been following their success and believe this will be a tremendous partnership.”

Luck – boasting a voice cast which includes Eva Noblezada, Simon Pegg and Jane Fonda – tells the story of Sam Greenfield, the unluckiest person in the world. When she discovers the Land of Luck, Sam teams up with a host of magical creatures to turn her luck around.

Luck kicks off a film slate from Skydance Animation and Apple Original Films that also includes the upcoming animated musical Spellbound. The studio was also responsible for the short film Blush, which was recently nominated for “Outstanding Animated Short-Form” at the NAACP Awards and “Best Music – TV/Media” at the Annie Awards.
