Women in Toys, Licensing & Entertainment has launched the 2024 WiT Foundation Scholarship, an application-based scholarship open to female students.
The revamped 2024 program will support students who are pursuing undergraduate degrees in industry-related fields. The scholarship includes a financial award of $5,000, a one-year WiT membership, career-focused programming, enrolment in WiT’s Ruth Handler Mentorship Program, access to internship and job postings, and more.
Award recipients will also be invited to attend WiT’s Wonder Women Awards Gala in Los Angeles on September 13th, 2024.
“This program advances WiT’s commitment to foster an industry culture where every woman can thrive,” said Angelina Castro and Kristin Lecour, WiT Scholarship Co-Chairs.
“Our goal is to develop female leaders and build a more robust pipeline of professionals in consumer products. By providing financial support, career development, industry education and professional mentorship to these students, we will inspire a more inclusive and equitable community.”
